Wow! You have made some incredible changes to this game, and it's really starting to come together! The spinning jump feels very bouncy and powerful (could maybe add some particle effects for landing and lift off, maybe even screen shake for landing to make it feel really powerful) and the main mechanic is very well implemented now as I have to make decisions about when to land and where to jump before my attack runs out, which previously could not be made because there was no UI for the attack. Very well done! I also love how you bounce back after hitting an enemy, it feels very responsive! Overall good job on the updates, I'm really looking forward to your future ones as I think this game has a lot of potential! :D Keep it up! :)
Also I have a few suggestions, you really don't have to implement these, they're just ideas :P
"health" of the city, goes down when robots get past your defense
different types of enemies! I ahem no idea what they could be (:P) but I'm sure you can come up with something, and it will definitely add an extra layer of depth to the game!
Thanks really apreciate it and i'm glad you seemed to have liked it that much :)
I tried to improve the gamefeel as best i could and i thought the bounce could ba a good start to spice things up, i got otherimprovements planned although they're not gonna be here for a bit of time untill i can iron/and figure some things out.
Like i said previously, the next one is in the works but i'm not sure when i'll manage to push it out for now, Even though this might not be in the next build, i'm definitively taking notes on your suggestions, added them to the other feedback i already have and see how i could implement all that. However if you want more enemy types, you'll like the next update, I have an additional enemy added to the roster that could vary things a bit ^^
As for the Goal / fail state in the game, i intend to have one for sure but i still have to decide on how i'm gonna acheive that, and possibly have some more learning to do on some mechanics this is going to require :p
Yeah that's ok. The bounce has a lot of potential and I'm sure you'll come up with something :)
Yup, no problem. I understand it's not easy to update regularly :P Thanks for taking in my suggestions! Ooh, I can't wait to see the new enemy! :P
I see, keep it up!
Also if you ever need help, suggestions, or feedback on any of your games, feel free to ask :) Although I myself haven't worked with the Godot engine, I'm sure some concepts will be transferable :P
Thanks, still got to learn quite a lot, so i'm not sure how competent i'll be to transfer concepts from one engine to another :p, anyway feedback and suggestions still help tremendously so feel free to give em whenever you get some time to try out an update :)
Cool concept but unfortunately I didn't find that mechanic very challenging :P But I love the art and the music is awesome :D
Also thank you so much for following me! I would love it if you would check out my work-in-progress Android app, Switch Run. I'm writing a devlog for it and I'd love to hear your feedback! Thanks in advance :)
Thanks :) like i said i'm working on and off on this one mainly so i can learn more coding wise, i'll definitively do something to spice up the challenge once i get around tweaking whats needed without breaking anything (still a beginer afterall) so i'll update whenever i manage to figure this out ^^
Also no prob dude, the community was really cool during this jam so i think it's interesting to have a few updates on what people are working on post jam and all :)
I'd like to try it and give feedback but, unfortunately i don't have an android device to try Switch run on :(
You're welcome :) That's good to hear! Good luck :)
Lol, everybody seems to think I'm a dude :P It's ok XD Yeah, thanks, I totally agree! :)
Aw... Thanks for trying though... I am going to post a video on the Switch Run page showing all of the gameplay (will probably be out in around 10 minutes) so you could try that, but I totally understand :) Thank you for supporting me though! It really means a lot :)
Edit: I published the video on YouTube and linked it to my game page :)
Checked the video out, sorry again for not being able to try it on android :(
Seems fun, like the pacing where it takes some time before going insanely fast, though i'd imagine even when it goes slower it's harder than it looks cause the buttons probably have to be pressed by tapping them on screen ? The color theming thing is cool also :)
You're welcome, the community from this jam seemed to have a lot of nice people so i figured a few follows would be right to see other games being made ^^
Good luck with your game as well, hopefully you'll get some more feedback ! :D
Thanks :) Yes, you tap the buttons to switch positions of the obstacle. Unfortunately my finger position thing (on Android) didn't record in the video so it's a little hard to understand what's going on, sorry :P Thanks :) If you would like to you can recommend some colour schemes on the community post I created on the game page :) Read more info there
:3 Thanks so much! I totally agree and I really appreciate you choosing to follow me! :D As an indie game developer every person means a lot :)
Thanks nice to see you liked it, i'm not developing full time but i'm still working on it from time to time when i can( my goal would be to make a somewhat more polished post jam version down the line ), so there'll definitively be updates, but they won't be super frequent for now just so you know :)

No problem! I look forward to your future updates, and I'm just about to play the latest version so I'll leave a comment here again :)

No problem :) I posted some color themes on your suggestion page
