Atro Metal post jam update
Worked quite a bit to fix a few things and add some others in this post jam update, i mainly wanted to adress some of the hud readability issues mentioned during the jam so i ditched the semi transparent Ui to make it fully opaque with some additional animation and color changes to hopefuly help convey the different shield, and hp statuses. This also inludes a boss Hp bar to show progress during the bossfight.
I speeded up the pace a bit, with faster enemy bullets, and faster firerates, as well as the background scrolls,most noticable on levels 2 and 3 for the backgrounds as level 1 has been kept as is to maintain a bit of difference between space and in atmosphere levels.
Got time to compose a small looping song for the ship select screen to help it be a bit less boring XD
Weapons recieved a complete overhaul, i changed the recoil system to have it be a bit more predictable (some weapons felt really random in the jam version upon further playtesting) and upgrades while keeping their system unchanged, have a new twist : Once your ship has a max level weapon, you can collect up to 2 satelite drones that shoot your corresponding ship's base weapon, they can also serve as protection to clear bullets out of the way.
Also added a sort of respawn protection so you start with your shield active whenever a lavel starts or you just respawned after death, note that while there's still unlimited lives and continues the score now gets reset to 0 when dead, so the end screen now shows your actual high score instead of your current score.
Lastly i've added a bit visual effects here and there to juice the game up a bit more, like the ship flashing when shooting and a visible animated thruster.

- Buffed non one shot enemy hp to increase challenge
- Increased Background scroll speed in levels 2 and 3
- Overhauled weapon systems, with new recoil patterns, and added satelite drones after weapon max level

- Added color change animations to hud to have it more dynamic and readable
- Added Boss hp bar
- Boss now have half their original hp values in single player
