This is my entry for the Godot Wild Jam 30 game jam

Theme : Heartbeat

Wild cards used : None this time :(


Note : Supposed to have a cover image and screenshots if not problem with uploads ont the site's side ?


Ressource :

Godot 3.2.2, Blender2.91, Gimp, BoscaCeoil, Lmms (sfxr for sfx), Font = Press Start 2p from Google Fonts

All assets except the font : graphics, music, sfx,  and code, done myself during the jam



Story sum - up :

The mysterious heart of the ruins is fragmented and unbalanced and must be restored !

 As a hunter your tribe chose you to seek the fragments and retrieve them to the central altar, use your instinct to sense the fragment's presence, but beware ancient stone guardians roam the ruins and will attack on sight, your combat skills may help you defend yourself, but you might want to seek for ancient power orbs to help even the odds, they might also come in handy to access some blocked areas.



Gameplay (Controller recomended but not mandatory) :


Find all 6 fragments and bring them back to the main altar

Heartbeat sensor : Indicate how close you are to a fragment : 

- Green = Detected

- Yellow = In near area

- Red = Very close


Compass : Indicate general direction to the main altar to help navigate


Minimap : Full minimap that indicate everything except the fragments to provide additional help with navigation


Upgrades : 

- Hp upgrade = Heals you and doubles your max Hp

- Firepunch upgrade = Your punches now throw a powerful fireball, can destroy certain blocks


Keyboard :

Arrowkeys = Move

Space = Attack


Controller :

Dpad / Analog = Move

A / Cross = Attack
