My entry for Shmup Jam 2 Neon 

Deep space patrol is never easy, especially when you stumble upon a hostile alien fleet on your own !


Gameplay  and Goal :

Classic sidescrolling shmup, with a bit of vertical scrolling  Gradius style, single infinite level to fit the theme, score as high as you can

Controls :

Keyboard :

Arrowkeys or WASD or ZQSD to move around

Spacebar to shoot and accept in menus

Esc to cancel in menus


Controller :

Dpad to move around

Xbox A or Ps Cross to shoot and accept in menus

Xbox B or Ps Circle to cancel in menus


Credits :

Graphical assets, Code, Sfx, and Music done solo during the jam

Font : Oxanium from Google Fonts


Made with :

Godot engine 3.3.1 stable, Blender 2.93, LMMS and Sfxr, Gimp 2.10

About it for the jam build, hope you have fun playing the game :)

Those pixel ships look really nice!

well there's never too much chunky pixels so hopefully the ships delivered on that front XD although i had to cut quite a few corners to publish the game in time compared to what i had for my  MechJam2 entry :p
