Radar Raiders small post jam update & fixes


Okay so i got a bit of time to work on a few post jam things for the game, mostly small fixes for some of the issues pointed out in the jam’s feedback. Not much but i hope you guys’ll like it i’ll put the details below in the changelog.

Changelog for post jam vers :

  • Mixed the sound properly with dedicated channels for music and sfx, also lowered the overall audio volume.

  • Revamped First person gun animations to make them a bit more punchier with added screenshake.

  • Revamped the gunflash effect with new model & texture, and added light emission for overall better effect.

  • Added better lighting to the game to have rendering be a bit less flat. (didn’t put it in the jam cause i didn’t know how it would impact performance)

  • Enemies are now moving and aiming faster to add a bit more difficulty.

  • Enemies deal overall higher damage (randomized to spice things up a bit) compared to the jam build.

  • Improved overall player speed, all Mech types are now moving a bit faster.
